Bespoke, celebrant-led vow renewal and recommitment ceremonies
When a couple have been together for some time, the ideal way to celebrate this is with a renewal of their vows.
Whether you have been together 1 year or 50 years, whether you are celebrating your wood or your diamond wedding anniversary, I can work with you to create a beautiful and personalised vow renewal or recommitment ceremony to commemorate your life together, one that celebrates your partnership so far and looks ahead to your future together.
Some people choose to renew their commitment to each other at the same time as a key anniversary or a milestone birthday. Others opt to do this following a period of change or upheaval. Other couples were not able to have the type of wedding they wanted first time around, and want to hold their dream ceremony now.
Whatever your reasons are, as your vow renewal celebrant I’m here to help design and deliver the perfect ceremony for you.
I only conduct one ceremony per day, so when you book me as a celebrant, I can be completely flexible regarding ceremony time.
My fee for 2023/2024 vow renewal ceremonies conducted within 30 miles of Basingstoke, Hampshire is £650. Any additional travel or equipment costs will be discussed and agreed at the time of booking.
Included in these costs are:
A ‘getting to know you’ meeting, where we can talk about your vision for your ceremony, including any ideas or preferences you have and plans you have made so far . I’ll also send you a questionnaire about you and your relationship for you to fill in and return to me.
A second meeting, where we can go through the first draft of your vow renewal ceremony script and make any changes you require as well as discussing your big day in more detail.
A completely bespoke ceremony script written and delivered by me on the day, including your love story and all that we have discussed. This will be agreed with you and amended as required by you ahead of the big day.
Help with writing your vows, if required.
Script preparation, including all edits required.
A run through or rehearsal of the ceremony (if requested).
A presentation script and commemorative certificate, if you would like one.
